Startup Weekend is coming to CES! Startup Weekend is a 501(c)3 non-profit that brings together the entrepreneurial, web development and design communities for one weekend with one goal: going from idea to launch!
Capture the CES experience in photos by taking a group picture with your friends against an iconic Vegas background, or get a professional profile photo to use on LinkedIn. CES attendees can get fun photos and headshots taken by our professional team of photographers at the Fantapper booth. Photographers will also be present at select events throughout the week.
The ACT is ushering in a new variety of nightlife in Las Vegas inside The Shoppes at The Palazzo. Please join us for the Official CES Opening Night Party on Tuesday, January 8. Show your official CES badge and enjoy complimentary admission starting at 11 p.m. through close, and an exclusive wristband for complimentary service to their well open bar from 11 p.m.-12 a.m.
Come hear live performances in the Gibson tent in their new location, CES Central Plaza near South Hall! Join Gibson Guitar for fun, star-studded excitement and live entertainment from some of the biggest names in music, movies and television. CEA has teamed up with the Startup America Partnership to showcase and celebrate some of the most innovative companies at the 2013 International CES. Are you ready for a showdown? Pit your mobile app against the competition during the Mobile Apps Showdown at the 2013 CES! App producers will have two minutes to demo their app, and an applause-o-meter will measure audience enthusiasm to determine the winners. Two winners will be selected, one based on a live vote at CES and the other based on online voters at the website. Guest emcees Gary Dell'Abate and Jon Hein from the Howard Stern Show will host the event.
CEA in partnership with Eye-Fi, maker of the world’s first wireless memory card, will announce winners of the fourth annual ‘Best Shots’ digital photo contest on-site at CES. Photos are submitted in four categories: people, travel, pets and cellphone shots. All photo entries will be displayed in the ‘Best Shots’ area within the PMA@CES exhibits at the LVH. A slate of expert judges will select finalists from each category. Winners will then be chosen via an online vote that runs during CES, and announced Friday, January 11.
