The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) will host its “Developer University” event on June 27, at CE Week NY. This unique event, focused on developers and the app economy, is designed to provide valuable
information to developers looking for new ideas on successful app development and monetization.
Experts from Chair Entertainment Group, a subsidiary of Epic Games, Clear Channel, Mashable, Mobile Roadie, Panasonic, Research In Motion, TiVo and Verizon Wireless will present at CEA’s Developer University event. Discussion topics will include apps for TV, music and mobile, as well as app monetization strategies.
“Coming off the tremendous success of CEA’s Developer University at the International CES in January, we saw the need for a Developer University event at CE Week NY,” said Brian Markwalter, senior vice president, research and standards, CEA. “As apps continue to revolutionize the delivery of content to consumers, this event provides a single venue for OEMs, platform vendors and service providers to promote their platforms and developer programs to the large cross-section of developers in the New York area."
The Developer University event will take place from 8 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York. For more details, including full session listings, visit:
