Consumer Confidence in Technology Reaches Highest Level in History of CEA Index

Consumer confidence in technology reached the highest level in the history of the CEA Index, according to the latest figures released recently by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA).
 
“Technology products are the most wanted gifts this holiday season, and we’ve seen a tremendous amount of activity, with several new product launches over the past few months,” said Shawn DuBravac, CEA’s chief economist and senior director of research. “Consumers are increasingly dedicating a significant portion of their overall gift budgets to electronics, which has crowded out other categories for holiday gift spending.” [Read more]

New Documentary to Premier at CES from the Internet Entrepreneurs Behind Reddit

After watching the U.S. government threaten the Internet with bills like SOPA and PIPA, Internet entrepreneurs from Reddit, including Alexis Ohanian, co-founder, and Erik Martin, general manager, set out to “campaign for the Internet” during the 2012 presidential election season. Attention Exhibitors! Looking for the latest media lists? You can pull the 2013 pre-registered media list by logging into your Exhibitor Portal and hovering over the Reports/Stats tab on the green menu bar and clicking on the 2013 Pre-Registered Media/Analyst List. Once the page opens, click “select all” from the drop down menu labeled “dates.” This will populate the list entirely. From there, you can filter the list by registration type and/or product category.
