Global Media Awards

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) launched the Global Media Awards program focused on technology and content programming at the 2009 CES.

In prior years, the media like technologies were clearly defined by decades of usage and tradition, as well as culture and country. As the digital age dawned, these distinctions have virtually evaporated as technologists, creators, producers and distributors have dedicated their skills to accomplishments in all forms of media, distributed simultaneously to international audiences.
