Does your company export overseas or are you looking to enter new international markets? Our Export Exhibitor Directory (EED) can help you reach international buyers at CES. When you are creating or updating your free Exhibitor Directory listing profile in your MyCES Exhibitor Portal, check the box that indicates that you are interested in exporting and list which countries you are interested in. This then allows you to add an export contact to your list of company contacts.
Listings of exhibitors interested in exporting will be included in our 2009 Export Exhibitor Directory. CES is part of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Buyer Program and the Department of Commerce will send the EED to Commercial Services Offices in all embassies and consulates to recruit buyer delegations for CES.
Leverage the CES PR tools and resources before, during and after the 2009 International CES by sending us your PR contact information.
To ensure that the media can find you at CES, please take a moment to list your company’s PR contact. We will direct any media inquiries we receive regarding your company or products to the individual you indicate. The contact information will be available to all registered CES media. It is required that you go to your free Exhibitor Directory Listing profile to add/update your PR Contact information.

It’s not called The “International” CES for nothing! As we pass the year’s mid point, swelter through summer heat and vacation with family and friends, we are less than 180 days from the 2009 International CES, the world’s largest and most critical business event for the consumer electronics industry. We are witnessing the evolution of a true global economy and you only have to read the paper, browse your favorite news website or walk into your local retailer to confirm it. And whether you’re a consumer or producer, you are an integral part of it. One country’s struggling economy could spell potential boons for others, while rising demand or increased production in one region can create investment and growth potential in another. The rise of developing regions across the globe can no longer be an afterthought. Countries like China, India and Brazil are experiencing growth at a monumental pace. As a result of that growth, their population’s desire for new products and services continues to grow. This growth has also fueled innovation and new capabilities, creating opportunities for new businesses to develop and expand. Without question, countries, regions and even entire continents are inextricably linked economically. For the modern business enterprise, doing business and extending your brand internationally is critical to remain competitive and viable. In 1998, “CES” became “The International CES,” and the name modification was more than an afterthought. It was the culmination of an organization-wide initiative to establish CES as the premier event for the global CE community. When the name change occurred, CES was still considered by most to be a domestic event. Ten years later, the International CES is a bonafide international phenomenon, drawing more than 25,000 international attendees from 140 countries, including more than 1,150 journalists from outside the U.S. In 2008, 57 international attendee delegations from countries like Russia, Israel, the Philippines and Austria visited CES. And international press outlets canvassed the show floor in search of the hottest technologies to share with their audiences back home. Continued on next page. |
