2008 INTERNATIONAL CES REIGNS AS GLOBAL STAGE FOR NEW TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION The International CES is once again the world's biggest platform for new technology and devices from the biggest innovators. For 41 years, the International CES® has been the must-attend event for new technology: almost every major consumer electronics advance has been launched at CES, including the VCR, CD player, DVD player, HDTV, satellite radio, Xbox, HDTV DVR and IPTV. Many of the more then 20,000 products launched at last week's 2008 International CES, the world's largest technology tradeshow, will soon be on store shelves and in consumers' living rooms. Brian Roberts, chairman and CEO of Comcast Corp., delivered the morning keynote address,
becoming the first chief executive from the cable industry to deliver a CES keynote. Roberts
said today's convergence of media has ushered in a new era for Comcast, which he referred to as
